Connect to a Single‐Feed Adhesive Storage Bin (contd)
To convert from a standard harness to a QD harness
1. Secure the bulkhead fitting on the quick‐disconnect adapter harness (6)
to the knockout hole on the top of the storage bin pump box.
2. Connect the adapter harness to the solenoid valve connector on the bin
pneumatic control kit (9).
3. Secure the adapter harness ground wire to the ground screw (5) located
on the back plate of the pump box.
4. Connect the quick‐disconnect transfer hose solenoid harness supplied
with the quick‐disconnect kit to the melter transfer hose solenoid harness
connection (4) and to the quick‐disconnect adapter harness (6). Adjust or
remove cables ties as needed.
To connect air
1. Connect the air tubing from the outlet of the pneumatic control kit on the
storage bin to the air input on the venturi pump (7).
2. Use customer‐supplied 12 mm OD air tubing to connect an air supply to
the ¼ NPT air input fitting (10) on the storage bin.
NOTE: The air supply must be capable of supplying 25scfm and a
minimum of 4.5 bar (65 psi).
