4.10.6 Teaching Fiducials
A fiducial is a distinct shape or object on the workpiece. Fluidmove uses fiducials for location reference.
If your programming options are set to have one or more fiducials, Fluidmove will prompt you to teach
the target points on the workpiece. Choose images that are identical from part to part and in the same
location.
To teach fiducials:
1. Follow the screen prompts and move the camera crosshairs to the first fiducial location.
 Adjust the camera focus and lighting as necessary to obtain a clear image. See 4.8.2
Lighting and Color Adjustment.
2. Click on
Teach.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for additional fiducials.

4.10.7 Loading a Fluid File
 NOTE The default fluid file is automatically attached to the program when you create a new
program. To attach a different fluid file, follow the instructions below. The fluid file is
saved with the program. Fluid file settings can be edited in the Fluid Manager. See
4.10.7.1 Setting up the Fluid Manager .
To load a fluid file:
1. In the Programming Window, select
File > Fluid Table > Load from the menu bar.
2. If your system is equipped with dual valves, you will be prompted to select Valve 1 or
Valve 2.
3. Select a fluid file and click on
Open.
4. If necessary, repeat Step 1 through Step 4 for Valve 2.
To save a fluid file:
1. Make the desired changes in the Fluid Manager and/or Line and Dot Parameters.
 Refer to the Fluidmove User Guide or Online Help for detailed information.
2. In the Fluidmove Programming Window, select
File > Fluid Table > Save.
 The file will be saved with the same name.
 Fluid files can also be saved in the Fluid Manager. See 4.10.7.1 Setting up the Fluid
Manager .
To save a fluid file with a different name:
1. In the Fluidmove Programming Window, select
File > Fluid Table > Save As.
2. Enter the new name and click on
Save.
