MSN automatic internal distribution
This features allows you to assign different MSN num-
bers for each S
0
interface. The number of S
0
interfaces
varies according to the type of S
0
module. (See Service
Manual - A31003-K1160-S100-X-XX20). MSN numbers
must be configured using the HiPath 1100 Manager
(see Help file on Manager application).
ISDN telephones can be configured for any of the MSN
numbers assigned to an S
0
interface. The configuration
must be carried out manually on each telephone set.
The maximum number of MSNs allowed varies accord-
ing to the specific telephone model.
Call deflection
When this feature is available and provided by a local
carrier, an incoming call to an extension activated with
call forwarding (*11) is routed directly to an external
destination over the public network. Alternatively, the
HiPath 1100 system can be used.
Required: Programming mode must be activated (*95
31994).

fault)

On the Gigaset SX255 you can assign several
MSN numbers for each telephone using the Hi-
Path 1100 Manager. However, each set stores
only the first 10 MSN numbers. For further infor-
mation on configuration and programming proce-
dures for the Gigaset SX255, refer to the Gigaset
SX255 User’s Manual (A31008-X255-B100-X-
XX19).
