Step by step
Relay
The relay can be activated via the sensor, assuming that
the sensor is configured. It can be activated manually or
automatically after a specified time. When the relay is
activated, the contacts end. When it is deactivated, the
contacts open.
By default, the relay is set to Switch Mode.
Required: Programming mode must be activated (*95
31994).

e ... i Select the operating mode for the relay:
e = "Switch": The relay can only be turned on from an
extension by entering the proper feature code
(see Miscellaneous functions - Relay in the User
Manual).
f = "Monoflop": The relay is closed for a specified
length of time. Alternatively, the relay can also be
opened before the set time, by entering the prop-
er feature code (see Miscellaneous functions -
Relay in the User Manual).
g = "Invert": The current status of the relay is reversed
when the feature code to activate the Relay is
selected at an extension.
h = "Music on Hold": The relay can be used for
enabling external equipment connected for play-
ing announcements/music.
i = "External signal": For an analog extension, a sec-
ond ring can be activated/deactivated using the
relay.
w Initial status for programming mode.
When playing music from an external music
source, all regulations related to copyrights for
the country in question must be followed.
