Rapidlab 1200 Operator’s Guide: Troubleshooting 6-79
02087462 Rev. V
Ensure that the sample device
you use contains sufficient
sample. To identify the minimum
sample volume for the sample
device that you are using, refer to
Recommended Fill Volumes
page C-1.
Interfering
Substance
The system detects the presence
of substances in the sample that
may interfere with measurement.
The symbol # displays next to the
results.
Check the sample source and
result, and ascertain the source of
an interfering substance.
Repeated, unexpected
occurrences of this message may
indicate sensor failure. Replace
the sensor.
Measurement
Module Door
Opened
The system detects that the
measurement module door was
opened without first accessing
the Diagnostics or Maintenance
screen.
If this occurred during sample
analysis, the message is printed
with the report.
1. Close the measurement
module door firmly and
ensure both latches are
locked in place.
2. Respond to the prompt, “Did
you remove or replace any
sensors?”
The system starts
accelerated calibration
intervals in either of 2
instances:
•You select Yes.
•You select No but the
system detects a drop in
pressure in the sample
path, which indicates a
sensor was removed.
Microsample
Question Value
The system detects that the
sample is a microsample because
of bubbles or insufficient sample.
The message is printed with the
sample analysis report, and
transmitted to the LIS, or
Rapidlink or Rapidcomm Data
Management systems. This
message occurs only if Flag
Microsamples is enabled in
Setup.
Confirm sample results.
