Chapter 9

PC Software Connections

Introduction The service port on the CPU daughter card allows the 4100ES panel to connect to a PC’s

running important utilities, such as diagnostics, programming, CPU firmware downloading,

and channel monitoring.

The panel can also connect to a remote PC through the 4100-9832 Service Modem or through

the Ethernet.
