6.2.3 Providing access to the tractor components for maintenance of tractors with a plas-
tic bonnet

Before carrying out maintenance work, it is necessary to remove the monocyclone, lift
and secure bonnet 4 (Figure 6.2.3), which is jointed to the bearings in front of the cab chassis.
To do this proceed as follows:
- remove the monocyclone by pulling it up;
- unscrew handle 1;
- remove sidewall 2;
- pull lock fixation cable handle 3 of bonnet 4, lift bonnet 4 to its highest position by acting
on handrail 5;
- secure the bonnet by means of rod 6.
WARNING: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE OPERATION UNDER THE
BONNET, MAKE SURE IT IS SECURE IN THE RAISED POSITION!
To lower the bonnet, do the following:
- slightly lift bonnet 4 to release rod 6;
- let bonnet 4 to its lower position;
- act on handrail 5 until you hear a specific “click” (the bonnet lock is triggered);
- mount sidewall 2;
- screw handle 1 until stops.
To quickly access the oil tank for the HLL and HSC, located in front of the chassis
cab, you must do the following:
- remove monocyclone 12;
- remove decorative caps 7;
- unscrew bolts 8;
- remove washers 9 and 10;
- remove hatch 11.
After completing the repair of the components of the oil tank for the HLL and HSC,
do the following:
- mount hatch 11;
- install washers 9 and 10;
- tighten bolts 8 with a torque of 2 to 3 Nm;
- attach decorative caps 7;
- install monocyclone 12.
