Note – Cleaning of filter element of air pressure regulating valve filter in pneumatic
system is carried out only on regulator 80-3512010. Designation mark of air pressure regulat-
ing valve is located on the top side А of the regulating valve housing.
6.4.4.5 Operation 34. Check/ adjustment of service brakes
Check and adjust if necessary the control of service brakes as specified in subsection 3.7.2 “Service
brakes control”.
6.4.4.6 Operation 35. Check / adjustment of parking brakes control
Check the parking brake efficiency and adjust if necessary the control of parking brakes as
specified in subsection 3.7.4 “Parking brakes control”.
6.4.4.7 Operation 36. Check of the pneumatic system line proofness
To check the pneumatic system line proofness, perform the following:
- adjust pressure in the pneumatic system up to the value of 0.6 to 0.65 MPа (according to
the air pressure gauge mounted on the gauge board) and stop the engine;
- connect a manometer scaled not less than 1 MPa to a coupling head
- check according to the manometer that the air pressure drop does not exceed 0.2 MPa
during 30 min. Otherwise detect air leakage and correct the trouble.
6.4.4.8 Operation 37. Check and adjust if necessary
Check and adjust if necessary brake valve actuators, as specified in subsection 3.8.2.2
“Check and adjustment of brake valve actuator”.
6.4.4.9 Operation 38. Check of tightness of air cleaner connections and an inlet line
To check hermiticity, use the device for check of tightness of an inlet line KI-4870 GOSNITI
or its analog. In case you do not have such a device, check hermiticity of connections visu-
ally. Damaged coupling elements must be replaced. Clamps of inlet line shall be tightened
with torque from 5,5 to 10 Nm.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO BLOCK THE INLET LINE FOR TIGHTNESS CHECK BECAUSE IT
CAN LEAD TO ENGINE TURBOCHARGER FAILURE.
TRACTOR OPERATION WITH UNTIGHT INLET LINE IS FORBIDDEN.
Decompression of air supply circuit into the turbo-compressor can influence the reliability of
the data provided by the filter clogging indicator in a negative way as a result of which a
significant portion of unpurified air with heavy concentration of dust can enter the cylinders
via a turbo-compressor. The dust ingress in the oil results in accelerated wear and tear of
cylinder and piston unit of the engine.
