CABIN ALTITUDE light
(if installed and operative) ........................................ Verify extinguished
Disengage light TEST switch ....................................................Hold to 1
Verify that the A/P light is illuminated steady amber.
Verify that the A/T light is illuminated steady amber.
Verify that the FMC light is illuminated steady amber.
Disengage light TEST switch ....................................................Hold to 2
Verify that the A/P light is illuminated steady red.
Verify that the A/T light is illuminated steady red.
Verify that the FMC light is illuminated steady amber.
STAB OUT OF TRIM light ...................................... Verify extinguished
Do the Initial Data and Navigation Data steps from the CDU Preflight
Procedure and verify that the IRS alignment is complete before checking
the flight instruments.
Flight instruments .......................................................................... Check
Verify that the flight instrument indications are correct.
Verify that only these flags are shown:
•TCAS OFF
• NO VSPD until V–speeds are selected
• expected RMI flags
Verify that the flight mode annunciations are correct:
• autothrottle mode is blank
• roll mode is blank
• pitch mode is blank
• AFDS status is FD
Select the map mode.
Integrated standby flight display .........................................................Set
Verify that the approach mode display is blank.
Set the altimeter.
Verify that the flight instrument indications are correct.
Verify that no flags or messages are shown.
Standby RMI .......................................................................................Set
Select either VOR or ADF.
