CMU 900 ATC Controller/Pilot Data Link Communication
(CPDLC) Advisories
YW273, YW274
Active advisories alert the crew that a new message has been received that
requires attention. Active advisories are displayed in the lower right corner of the
CDU, adjacent to LSK 6R. When selected at LSK 6R, active advisories cause a
specific function to be performed. Only the highest priority active advisory is
displayed when more than one advisory is activated concurrently.
CPDLC ATC Alerting Advisories
Selecting the ATC ALERT prompt at LSK 6R will display the highest priority
active advisory.
ALERTING ADISORY CAUSE CLEARED WHEN
CPDLC LOGON Timed
Out
This advisory indicates a
user-initiated LOGON
has timed out and the
LOGON/STATUS page
is not currently showing.
Selecting the advisory
displays the
LOGON/STATUS page
and clears the ATC
ALERT advisory.
CPDLC Connection This advisory indicates
an ATN connection is
established, a CPDLC
connection is
established, an
unexpected disconnect
with the ground has
occurred which
terminates a CPDLC
connection, or the ATN
connection has broken.
Selecting the advisory
displays the STATUS
page and clears the ATC
ALERT advisory.
Flight ID Discrepancy This advisory indicates a
successful LOGON has
been accomplished but
the Flight ID on the
LOGON/STATUS page
does not match the
broadcast data currently
being received by the
CPDLC application.
Selecting the advisory
displays the LOGON
UPDATE page and
clears the ATC Alert
advisory.
