after localizer or glideslope capture CWS cannot be engaged by
manually overriding pitch and/or roll control forces. Manually
overriding pitch and/or roll will cause autopilot disconnect. At autopilot
disconnect, the active Autopilot modes will remain engaged.
YK981 - YQ456
after localizer or glideslope capture reversion to CWS will occur when
the pilot manually applies overriding pitch and /or roll control forces.
Approach mode will be reset (engaged and armed modes blank).
ILS Beam Anomaly/Ground Station Failure Detection
For a single channel or F/D only approach, the autopilot will disconnect and/or the
F/D bars will be removed if a persistent localizer/glideslope beam anomaly or
ground station failure is detected.
