Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode.
User Guidelines
Use this command to override the FDB decision, and forward the packet to the uplink. Please note that
the packet is still subject to all filtering decisions.
The following example overrides the FDB decision, and sends all the Unicast, Multicast and Broadcast
traffic to specified ethernet port.
map protocol protocols-group
The map protocol protocols-group VLAN Configuration mode command maps a protocol to a protocol
group. Protocol groups are used for protocol-based VLAN assignment. Use the no form of this command
to delete a protocol from a group.

— The protocol is a 16 or 40 bits protocol number or one of the following names,
ip, ipx
or
arp
. The protocol number is in Hex format (Range: 0600 - FFFF).

ethernet or protocols-group
. If no option is
indicated the default is
ethernet
.

group
— Protocol group number. (Range: 1 - 2147483647)

This command has no default configuration.
