aaa authentication
dot1x
Specifies one or more authentication, authorization,
and accounting (AAA) methods for use on interfaces
running IEEE 802.1x.
Global Configuration

control
Enables 802.1x globally. Global Configuration
dot1x port-control Enables manual control of the authorization state of
the port

dot1x re-
authentication
Enables periodic re-authentication of the client. Interface Configuration
dot1x timeout re-
authperiod
Sets the number of seconds between re-authentication
attempts.

dot1x re-
authentication
Manually initiates a re-authentication of all 802.1x-
enabled ports or the specified 802.1x-enabled port.

period
Sets the number of seconds that the device remains in
the quiet state following a failed authentication
exchange.

Sets the number of seconds that the device waits for a
response to an Extensible Authentication Protocol

resending the request.

before restarting the authentication process.
