Specifies one or more authentication, authorization,
and accounting (AAA) methods for use on interfaces

Enables 802.1x globally. Global Configuration
dot1x port-control Enables manual control of the authorization state of
the port

authentication
Enables periodic re-authentication of the client. Interface Configuration

Sets the number of seconds between re-authentication
attempts.
