Operation during compact asphalt paving
- Move the feeder to the correct position in front of the paver finisher.
- Use buttons (36)/(37) to open the hopper.
- Use buttons (73)/(74) to indicate to the truck drivers whether surface course of
binder course material is to be delivered.
- Instruct the truck driver to dump the material.
- Set the main conveyor belt to the required transfer height using buttons (47)/(48).
- Switch the conveyor belt functions (51) to "AUTO".
- Activate function (63) to fill the vehicle for the paving process. The paver finisher
hopper is now filled to the set height.
- Switch function (63) "OFF".
- Push the drive lever (13) all the way to the front and start driving.
Regulated by material scanning, the main conveyor belt and cross conveyor (o)
are started up.
- As soon as the desired distance between the paver finisher and feeder has
been reached, activate distance control (59)/(60) (LED "ON") and adjust the dis-
tance (61)/(62) if necessary.
- If necessary, regulate the output of the main conveyor belt using buttons (49)/(50).
- Raise/lower the operator's platform using buttons (24)/(25) if necessary.
Material change with empty hopper
- Switch the conveyor belt functions (51) to "OFF".
- Set the main conveyor belt to the required transfer height using buttons (47)/(48).

If the distance between the feeder and paver finisher has to be changed to set-up cor-
rect material transfer, distance control must be deactivated.
- As soon as the desired distance between the paver finisher and feeder has
been reached, activate distance control (59)/(60) (LED "ON") and adjust the dis-
tance (61)/(62) if necessary. Switch the conveyor belt functions (51) to "AUTO".
- Use buttons (36)/(37) to open the hopper.
- Switch the signal lamps to the different material type using buttons (73)/(74).
- Instruct the truck driver to dump the material.
