Conveyor side shields (8)

There are several side shields (A) on the
left and right along the conveyor belt.
To prevent leaks of paving material and
damage to the conveyor belt, the dis-
tance between the side shields and the conveyor belt must be checked and readjust-
ed if necessary.

The correct distance (B) between the
lower edge of the conveyor side shield
and the conveyor belt is 3 mm across the
entire length.
Adjust distance:
- To adjust the correct distance, first re-
move any adhered material
and deposits.
- Loosen the mounting screws (C)
of the side shields and adjust the cor-
rect distance.
- Lower the loosened shield on a suita-
ble spacer measuring 3 mm thick.
- Retighten the mounting screws (C)
properly.
- Possibly remove the spacer.
