2 Operating substance specifications
2.1 Drive engine TIER IV (o)

Low-sulphur diesel fuel is prescribed for correct operation of the exhaust-gas treat-
ment system!
The maximum sulphur level must not exceed 15 ppm!
If low-sulphur diesel fuel is not used, the prescribed exhaust values cannot be met
and damage will be caused to the engine and to the exhaust-gas treatment system!

Danger of explosion! Never mix diesel fuel with ethanol, petrol or alcohol!

Diesel fuel contaminated with water or dirt can cause serious damage to the fuel
system! Keep fuel and fuel system free of water and impurities!

Observe the instructions for fuel recommendations and the specification in the main-
tenance instructions of the engine manufacturer!
