- Move the conveyor belt with the maintenance switch. Then check all parts between
the segments (A) and all segment contact surfaces (B) while the belt runs round
completely once.
- On finding adhesions or accumulations of material or material incursions under the
conveyor belt segments:
- stop the conveyor belt, secure it to prevent it from starting up again and remove
the unwanted material.

Material deposits under the conveyor belt segments are indicated by bumps on the
outer surface of the conveyor belt (example: (C)). While the belt runs round complete-
ly once, a second person should check the entire outer surface for any signs
of bumps.
- If there is material under the segments:
- loosen the screwed connections (D) of the segment, remove material under
the segment.
- Restore screwed connections again:
- insert cleaned screw with liquid screw cement (see spare parts catalogue)
and tighten correctly.
- Ensure that the plate screw fits properly.
