4.8 Checking the Network Status
4.8.1 Checking the Network Connection with a Ping Test
Check the network connection using a ping test.
1. Select [Ping] under [Check Network Status].
The [Ping] window appears.
2. For [Address], enter the IP address, host name, or FQDN for the server to
be used to check the network connection.
3. Press the [Ping] button.
A ping test is performed and the results are displayed.
For details about the result, refer to "Checking Basic Network Operation with a
Ping Test" (page 370).
