5.9 Setting the Scan Options

5.9.7 Setting a PDF Password

When the file format is [PDF], PDF files can be locked with a user-specified password.

1. Select [PDF Password] under [Save] on the scan settings window.

 The [PDF Password] window appears.

2. Select [PDF Password] under [Save] on the scan settings window.

3. Press the [OK] button.

 The information entered is set.

ATTENTION

The password will need to be entered every time the password-protected PDF file is opened.

Do not forget or lose this password.
