6. Close the sheet guide.
Make sure that both ends of the sheet guide are locked firmly.
7. Close the LCD cover.
You should hear a click.
8. Connect the power cable, and turn on the scanner.
For details, refer to "2.1 Turning the Power On/Off" (page 51).
9. Reset the Roller Set usage counter.
The usage counter is reset by an administrator.
For details, refer to "Resetting the Usage Counter" (page 161).
Be careful that the LCD cover does not shut on your fingers.
