the camshaft holders
and
measure
the
Width
of each
strip of
plastigauge.
The widest
thickness determines
the oil
clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT:
CENTER: 0.20

When the
service
limits
are
exceeded, replace
the camshaft and
recheck
the oil clearance.
Replace
the cylinder head and camshaft holders
if
the clearance still
exceeds
service
limits.

NOTE
The
front
cylinder
head can be removed with
the engine
installed. But
to remove the rear
cylinder
head,
you
must remove the engine.
Loosen the water
hose
clamps.
Remove the water
pipes
and
hoses.
Remove the
water
pipe
O-rings.
Remove the oil
pipe
and sealing washers.
CAM
CHAIN
TENSIONER
BASE
Remove the
front
and
rear
cam chain
base
mounting bolts.
Pull
the
cam chain tensioner base uo.
