MAINTENANCE
Install the
front
cylinder
head
cover with
its
tabs
facing
down.
Install the removed
parts,
except the radiator
cap,
in
the
reverse
order of
disassembly.
Check
the engine
oil
level:
Fill
the
radiator
with clean coolant
to
the specif ied
level.
NOTE
After
f
illing the radiator, start the engine and
rev
it at least
three
times to
remove
any
air
bubbles
from
the cooling system. Add more
coolant mixture as necessary.
Install the radiator cao.
CARBURETOR SYN CHRO

NOTE
Synchronize
the carburetors with
the
engine
at
normal
operating
temperature, transmission
in neutral
and motorcycle on the
centerstand.
Remove
the
plugs
from
the No.
1,
2, 3
and 4
cylinder head
ports
and
install the vacuum
gauge
aclapters.
Connect the
vacuum
gauges.
ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
The
No.
4
carburetor
cannot be
adjusted;
lt is
the base carburetor.
Start
the
engine and adjust the idle speed.
IDLE SPEED:
VF750F: 1,000

Check
that all carburetors
are within 60
mm
(2.4
in)
