CYLINDER
HEAD/VALVE
Remove
the
front cylinder
cam chain
slipper
base,
and
remove the
rear cylinder
cam
chain
guide
by
removing
the cliP
and
washer.
Remove
the
front cylinder
cam
chain
guide
bolts
and
guide.
NOTE
Do
not
drop
the clip,
washer
and bolts
into
the crankcase.
CAM
CHAIN
GUIDE
AND
CAM
CHAIN
TENSIONER
INSPECTION
Inspect
the
cam
chain
guide
and
tensioner
for
damage
or excessive
wear.
Inspect
the cam
chain
tensioner
slipper
for damage
or excesslve
wear.
Inspect
the
spring
for
good
tension,
replace
if
necessary.
Remove
the
rocker
arm
shaft
and
rocker
arms'
Remove
the
rocker
arm
spring
and
O-ring
from
the
shaft
bolt.
