INSTALLATION
Apply a coat
of clean
engine oil to a
new
and
install it
in
the
water
pump groove.
Align
the water
pump
shaft
groove
with
pump
shaf t
and
insert
the water
pump
cra
nkcase.
COOLING
SYSTEM
OIL
PUMP
SHAFT
Insert a
new
O-ring
over
the
end of the water
pipe.
Connect
the
water
pipe
to the
pump
hose and
water
pipe
cap.
Install the
dowel
pins
and
install
a
new O-ring
in
'\-
the
groove
of the
water
pump
cover.
Install
the water
pump
cover
and
torque
the bolts.
Connect
the
water
inlet
hose.
lnstall
the
drive sprocket
cover,
gearshift
arm
and
clutch
slave
cYlinder'
Fill the
cooling
system
(page
6-3).
