INTERCEPTOR
ENGINE
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Disconnect the
crankcase
breather
hose.
Remove the engine hanger bolts
and nuts from
the
left side.
Remove
the sub-frame bolts.
Carefully
lower
the
engine
and remove
it
from
the
left
side.

Check
the
engine
mount
rubbers for
damage and
replace
if necessary.
Install the
engine mount rubbers.
Engine installation is essentially
the
reverse
removal.
Use a
floor
jack
or other
adjustable
support
carefully
manuever
the engine into
place.
CAUTION
Carefully
align mounting
points
with the
iack
to
prevent
damnge to
mounting
bolt
threads
and wire harness
and cables.
Tighten
all
fasteners to the
torque values
given
on
page
5-1.
NOTE

Route
the wires
and
cables
properly
(pages
1-10
thru 1
-1
2).

Fill the crankcase
to the
proper
level with
the
recommended oil
(Page
2-1).

Fill
the cooling system
(Page
5-3).
