position
on the crankpins.

piston pin
out and
remove
the
piston.
Mark
the
piston pins
to indicate
their correct
piston
position.

RING INSPECTION
Measure the
piston
ring-to-groove
clearance.

Remove the
piston
rings
and
mark them to
indicate
the
correct cylinder and
piston
position
Clean
the
piston
crown, removing all
oosr
ts.
Inspect the
piston
for
cracks
or other
the
ring
grooves
for
excessive wear
bu ild-up.
