Disconnect
the
oil
pressure
switch
lead
and remove
the switch.
Check
for
continuity while applying
pressure
to the
switch.
Continuity:
Below 20 kPa
(0.2
kg/cm2, 2.8
psi)
No
continuity:
Above 2O-4O kPa
(0.2-0.4
kg/cm2,
2.8-5.7
psi)
Replace
the
switch if necessary.
Apply
a liquid sealant to the switch threads before
installing the switch.
Screw
the
switch
into the
crankcase but stop two
threads
from
the bottom. Then tighten it to the
specified torque.
TOROUE:
15-20 N.m
(1.5-2.0
ks-m,11-14 ft-lb)
NOTE
To
prevent
crankcase damage,
do
not
over-
tighten the switch.

the rear brake
light switch
for continuity
with
the rear
brake
applied.
Check
the
front
brake
light
switch
for
continuity
with the
front
brake applied.
Replace the switches
if necessary.
