Remove the left side
cover and
disconnect the
neutral switch connector.
Check the
switch
for
continuity between
the
switch
connector
terminal and
ground.
There should
be continuity with the transmission in
neutral and no continuity with the transmission in
any
gear,
REMOVAL
Remove
the neutral switch
cover.
Remove
the
neutral switch
attaching
screws
and
the
switch.
INSTALLATION
lnstall
the
neutral switch
in the
reverse
order
of
removal.
Tighten
the switch
mounting
screws'
TOROUE:7-11
N.m
(0.7-1.1
ks-m, 5-8
ft-lb)
lnstall
the neutral switch
cover.
CTUTCH SITITC1|
Check
continuity
of the clutch
lever
(safety)
switch
with the clutch released
and
applied.
Replace if
necessary.
