8.6 Control modes
For AIRTOWER type compressors it is not possible to set the control modes since there is no
IDLE operating point. All associated menus are therefore unavailable.
The controller offers various control modes that can provide different load performance according
to machine application. Chapter 5.7 provides a comprehensive description of all control modes.
8.6.1 Setting the control mode
The following control modes are possible:
■ DUAL
■ QUADRO
■ VARIO
■ DYNAMIC
■ Continuous
■ The standard control mode setting depends on the machine type.
■ A machine-dependent relief phase between the LOAD and READY operating points en‐
sures material-friendly load change.
Precondition Password access level 2 is activated.
