To prepare for this procedure
1. Purge all adhesive from the melter and keep the system warm for service.
Refer to Purging the Melter in this section.
2. Relieve system pressure. Refer to Relieving System Pressure in
Section6, Maintenance, as needed.
3. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
4. Remove the hydraulics cover. Refer to Removing or Installing Covers in
Section 6, Maintenance, as needed.
5. See Figure 8‐30. Pull the spring-loaded pin to tilt open the hydraulics
assembly.
