ADVICE
Depending on the design, fuel tank contents exceeding 1000 litres are not indicated
on the display.
ATTENTION
Risk of serious engine damage!
Use only sulphur-free diesel fuel that conforms to the following standards:
DIN EN 590 (max. 0.001% sulphur) (10 ppm)
ASTM D975 (max. 0.0015% sulphur) (15 ppm)
The following fuel types are not approved:
– Fuel with a sulphur content exceeding 0.005% sulphur (50 ppm)
– Marine diesel fuel
– Aviation turbine fuel
– Heating oils
– FAME fatty acid methyl ester (biodiesel)
The above fuel types will cause irreversible damage to the engine and the exhaust
gas treatment system and will significantly reduce the expected service life.
Do not add petrol to vehicles with diesel engines. Even small amounts of petrol will
damage the fuel system and engine.
