6.6.4 Power reduction SCR system
The diesel engine of the vehicle is supplied with the certification Tier 4 final.
There are 3 types of targeted power reductions regarding the SCR system:
– Empty AdBlue tank
– Violation of the permissible European or EPA limits/poor AdBlue
®
quality
– SCR system error (short circuit, faulty component, etc.)
Each of these events leads respectively to the fact that the warning lights in the R-
touch flash or light up, additionally comes a targeted power reduction into force.
DEF control light (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). AdBlue® Warning
LIM control light, diesel engine torque limiter is active
Stop Engine warning light, shut off diesel engine (performance reduced)
Check Engine warning light (AWL warning), check diesel engine
