Folding the machine out/in

You start the automatic folding by:
– Press the analogue rocker switch (7) to the left (do not click into position because,
for safety reasons, latching-in stops all movements) and, shortly before latching-in,
hold the switch in that position until all the processes are finished.

Hazard of extremely severe injuries.
– Make sure, that nobody stands in the hazard zones when the machine is started.
The following processes are executed automatically. During these processes,
several movements are performed simultaneously:
1 The speed of the diesel engine increases.
2 If loading in the left direction, then the truck conveyor and counterweight arm must
first cross over each other.
3 Counterweight arm is positioned somewhat left of the centre.
4 Swivel arm is turned into the transport position (swivel arm position display in the
"0" range) and locked.
5 Recleaner swivels up to the end-stop in the transport position.
6 The truck conveyor articulation lowers down to the end-stop.
7 The truck conveyor turns and lowers until the inner side is just above the outer end
of the transport support.
8 Counterweight arm lock moves to the end-stop.
9 Counterweight arm swivels to the centre up to the end-stop roller on the swivel
arm.
10 Counterweight arm is completely locked (clamped on the swivel arm).
11 The counterweight lowers down completely to the end-stop.
12 As soon as these processes are completed, the diesel engine switches to idling
speed.
ATTENTION
Always pay attention that there is sufficient free space behind the machine allowing
implementation of this movements. In addition, there must be sufficient ground clear-
ance.
The last work step during rear fold-in is always to be performed manually
with the right joystick:
– Manually lower the truck conveyor 5-10 cm (2) over the transport support (3) and
turn up to the end-stop on the main frame.
– Completely lower the truck conveyor to the transport support (3) until the safety
guard rail (4) is pressed. The safety guard rail indicates this by displaying the (9)
icon on the R-Touch. Otherwise, it is not possible to activate front automatic folding.
