Administrator’s Guide for SIP-T2 Series/T4 Series/T5 Series IP Phones
392
It configures the normal delay time (in milliseconds) of jitter buffer in the wireless
network.
Note: It works only if “voice.jib.wifi.adaptive” is set to 0 (Fixed). The value of the
normal delay time should be less than or equal to that of the maximum delay time
(configured by the parameter “voice.jib.wifi.max”). The value of this parameter should
be greater than “voice.jib.wifi.min” and less than “voice.jib.wifi.min”. It is only
applicable to T54S/T52S/T48S/T48G/T46S/T46G/T42S/T41S/T29G/T27G IP phones.
DTMF
DTMF is the signal sent from the IP phone to the network, which is generated when pressing the IP
phone’s keypad during a call. Each key pressed on the IP phone generates one sinusoidal tone of two
frequencies. One is generated from a high frequency group and the other from a low frequency group.

DTMF Keypad
The DTMF keypad is laid out in a 4×4 matrix, with each row representing a low frequency, and each
column representing a high frequency. Pressing a digit key (such as '1') will generate a sinusoidal tone for
each of two frequencies (697 and 1209 hertz (Hz)).
