SHOW INTERFACE COUNTER HISTORY
Syntax
SHOW INTERFACE={ type:id-range | id-range | ifname-list | ALL }
COUNTER HISTORY [ STATUS ] [ INTERVAL={ interval-list | ALL } ] [
BUCKET={ bucket-list | ALL } ] [ FULL ]
Description The SHOW INTERFACE COUNTER HISTORY command allows the user to view data
collection entries for RMON.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a default value (if applicable).
Option Description Default Value
INTERFACE A logical representation of one or more physical ports;
the INTERFACE for which RMON data is enabled
type:id-range - the type of available ports, such as
ETH:7.0 or a range (ETH:8.0-8.9)
id-range - used with type (type:id) to query the physical
ports; the numerical identifier of the interface
ifname-list - list of interface names, if not numerical
ALL - used to specify the same historical data collection
parameters on all applicable interfaces in the system
COUNTER
HISTORY
Specifies the data collection history for RMON statistics
for an interface(s).
STATUS - The default is to include bucket data in the
display. If the STATUS parameter is present, only infor-
mation about the data collection controlling entries is
displayed.
INTERVAL - Specifies the number of seconds that are to
elapse between collecting one BUCKET and the next.
There can be at most one data collection entry for a
given interface with a specified interval value. INTER-
VALs may be entered as a single value for the inter-
face(s) or a number of data collection entries may be
created at one time by providing a list of intervals.
Intervals can have a duration from 2 to 3600 seconds.
NOTE: ALL is not a valid value for this parameter for
this command.
