7.2.2 DHCP Relay Agent
With the DHCP Relay Agent function, the Allied Telesis system emulates a DHCP server, in essence acting on
behalf of the DHCP server and providing the IP address information to the client.
Figure 7-2 shows how the DHCP packets are sent and received between the server and client with the DHCP
Relay Agent. Refer to this figure while reading this subsection.
