SETDEFAULTS DOT1X INTERFACE
Syntax
SETDEFAULTS DOT1X INTERFACE={type:id-range|id-range|ifname-list|
ALL} [CONTROLDIRECTION] [EAPOLVERSION] [REAUTHMAX] [TXPERIOD]
[EAPREQMAX]
Description This command is used to reset the specified 802.1X-based Port Authentication interface
settings to their default. If no parameters are specified, all settings are reset.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a default value (if applicable).
Example
SETDEFAULTS DOT1X INTERFACE=6.22-6.23 EAPOLVERSION
Option Description Default Value
INTERFACE The interface(s) over which the DOT1X parameters are
to be set.
ALL
CONTROL-
DIRECTION
BOTH - Except for authentication packets, traffic is
blocked in both directions until authentication is com-
plete.
BOTH
EAPOLVER-
ION
The EOPOL protocol version. 2
REAUTH-
MAX
Number of reauthentication attempts that can occur
before becoming unauthorized.

TXPERIOD The period in seconds between successive request ID
attempts.
This parameter is only applicable when EAPOLVERSION
is set to 1

EAPREQ-
MAX
Number of EAP requests to send to a supplicant. This
parameter is only applicable when EAPOLVERSION is
set to 1.
