Description Allows a user to modify select STP parameters.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a Default Value (if applicable).
Option Description Default Value
INSTANCE The Spanning Tree instance
INTERFACE The interface(s) selected that will have their settings
modified.
DEFAULT Resets the STP settings to their defaults.
The default settings are as follows:
- FORWARDDELAY - 15 seconds.
- HELLOTIME - 2 seconds.
- MAXAGE - 20 seconds.
- PRIORITY - 32768.
- FORCE - RSTP.
PRIORITY Determines the switch's priority for becoming the root
bridge or a designated bridge in the network, with a
lower number indicating a higher priority.
Ranges are:
0..65535
32768
