– Do not flash the headlights.
– Loosen locking bolt -1- a few turns.
– Remove appropriate front wheel.
– Remove relevant front wheel housing liner ⇒ Rep. gr. 66 .
– Release retaining tabs -arrows- and detach housing cover for
dipped beam headlights from headlight housing.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows-.
– Press ball head of actuator shaft out of its mounting by swiv‐
elling control motor -1- downwards.
– Unplug electrical connector -2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
– Start by inserting ball head of actuator shaft in mounting on
reflector from below; to do so, pull reflector to rear.
Note
The headlights must always be re-adjusted if the control motors
are removed and installed or renewed ⇒ page 182 .
– Close housing cover and secure with locking bolt.
– Install front wheel housing liner ⇒ Rep. gr. 66 .
