5.6 Vehicles with 3.0 ltr. TDI engine
Removing
– With ignition switched off, disconnect earth cable at battery
⇒ page 2 .
– Move lock carrier to service position ⇒ Rep. gr. 13 .
– Remove alternator ⇒ page 30 .
– Release quick-release fasteners -2- and remove rear noise
insulation.
Note
Disregard -item 1-.
– Unbolt bracket for noise insulation -arrows-.
– Unbolt drive shaft (right-side) from gearbox flange.
