– Unplug electrical connector -1-.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and detach small cover panel and
storage compartment from door trim.
– Remove pin -1- for actuation of storage compartment lock with
Allen key.
– Repeat procedure on other side of storage compartment.
– Open storage compartment.
– Remove switch trim -1- -arrow-.
– Release fore-and-aft adjustment switch for front passenger's
seat at top and bottom and press to rear out of switch mounting
in storage compartment -arrow-.
– Unplug electrical connector -1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
– Press switch into switch mounting until retaining hooks en‐
gage.
– Install rear door trim ⇒ Rep. gr. 70 .
3.11 Removing and installing door contact
switch
The door contact switch is located in the door lock and cannot be
renewed separately if defective.
