Inner senders:
– Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- at top of lock carrier and beneath Audi
rings.
– Spray silicone-free lubricant all round into gap between radi‐
ator grille and bumper cover.
– First pull radiator grille -1- out of bumper cover by pulling it out
at locations marked with -arrows A-.
– Then pull bottom of radiator grille -arrows B- out of bumper
cover.
All senders (continued):
– Unplug electrical connector -1- at sender.
– Push both retainer tabs aside -arrows- and push out sender
inwards.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
Outer senders:
– Install bumper cover ⇒ Rep. gr. 63 .
Inner senders:
– Radiator grille must engage audibly in bumper cover.
