6.4.3.9 Operation 28. Oil change in engine case
Before oil change warm up the engine to its normal operating temperature (70°C min), set
the tractor on an even surface, kill the engine and brake the tractor with the parking brake.
For oil change proceeds as follows:
- Remove the cover 2 (Figure 6.4.23) of the oil filler neck 1 and unscrew the drain
plug 4;
- Discharge oil into a suitable container for storage of waste oils;
- Install the drain plug 4 to place and fill fresh clean motor oil through the oil filler
neck 1 to the upper mark of oil deep stick 3 (oil should correspond to the season,
use in winter - winter oil according to Table 6.7.1, and summer oil in summer);
- Install the cover 2 of the oil filler neck to place;
- Start the engine and let it operate for 1-2 minutes.
- Check the oil level with the oil deep stick 3 after 10 minutes ;
- If necessary, add oil to the engine case.

ATTENTION! Be careful to avoid contact with hot oil.
6.4.3.10 Operation 29. Drain of sediment from fine fuel filter of the engine
If your tractor is equipped with dismountable fine fuel filter, please drain sediment in
the following way:
- loosen the plug 2 (Figure 6.4.24) by 1...2 revolutions to remove the air;
- unscrew the plug 3 in lower part of filter 1 and drain sediment until clean fuel will
appear, drain sediment in appropriate containers;
- tighten plugs 2 and 3;
- fill the system with fuel (bleed the fuel system) according to section 6.4.5.12 “Oper-
ation 55. Replacing filter of filter cartridge of fine fuel filter.”
