6.4.5.7 Operation 50. Lubrication of gear lift links mechanism of RLL
Note – The operation shall only be performed at gear lift links.
Squirt the lift links adjusting mechanism (one lubrication point per each gear lift link),
hereby make four to six injections through the greaser 1 (Figure 6.4.44) in the upper part of
the lift link 2 using grease specified in Table 6.7.1.

6.4.5.8 Operation 51. Change of grease in steering joints
To change grease in steering joints perform the following actions:
- remove locking wire 3 (Figure 6.4.16);
- unscrew threaded plug 2;
- clean joints 1 from grease being inside of them;
- fill steering joints with new grease specified in Table 6.7.1;
- screw threaded plug 2 in to ensure that there is no clearance in steering joint;
- center punch the plug 2 with wire 3.
6.4.5.9 Operation 52. Check and adjustment of pneumatic pressure regulator
Check and adjust if necessary pneumatic pressure regulator, as indicated in sub-
section 3.8.3 “Check and adjustment of pneumatic system pressure regulator”.
6.4.5.10 Operation 53. Check and adjustment of cylinder head fastening bolts
Check the tightening of cylinder head fastening bolt with the warmed-up engine in the
following order:
- remove the cap and cover of the cylinder head;
- remove the rocker arm shaft with rocker arms and brackets;
- with the help of a torque wrench, check the tightening of all bolts fastening the cyl-
inder head in the order indicated in figure 6.4.45 and, if necessary, tighten the bolts;
- the tightening torque of the bolts attaching the cylinder head shall make
(200±10)Nm;
- after checking the tightening torque of the bolts attaching the cylinder head, mount
the rocker arm shaft back to its place and adjust the gap between valves and rocker arms,
as indicated in section 6.4.4.12 “Operation 39. Check / adjustments of gaps between valves
and rocker arms of the engine.”
- place back the cap and cover of the cylinder head.
