CCD CAM 100 – Installation and Operating Manual 157/198
9.9.9 Setting the Calibration Constant
\ Calibration Settings \ Resolution Pix/µm
The Resolution Pix/µm menu is used to set the calibration constant.
Fig.100: Resolution Pix/µm menu
The calibration constant is determined automatically upon
commissioning the CCD camera during the calibration process (see
Calibrating the CCD Camera, page 109).
Using the Resolution Pix/µm menu, you can change the calibration
constant without having to carry out a recalibration of the CCD
camera.
9.9.10 Setting the Distance of the CCD Camera to the Material
\ Calibration Settings \ Camera Dist. mm
The Camera Dist. mm menu is used to set the distance of the CCD
camera to the material.
Fig.101: Camera Dist. Mm menu
Calling up the menu displays the distance value A that was used
for the last material thickness compensation carried out. If the
distance of the CCD camera to the material changes, you can
adopt the distance value in this menu without having to carry out
a new material thickness compensation.
The distance value A corresponds with the distance from the
bottom side of the material to the sensor level of the CCD camera.
