9.8.7 Defining the Edge Detection Sensitivity
\ Edge Definition \ Sensitivity Edge [1..8]
The Sensitivity Edge [1..8] menu is used to define the sensitivity
for the edge detection.

The three buttons on the bottom edge of the menu are used to
define three areas around the selected edge in which the video
curve has to fulfill the following conditions to ensure that the
edge is detected.

Before yellow Area before the selected edge
To ensure that the selected edge is
detected, the video curve must be
above the upper trigger level or
below the lower trigger level in the
entire area.
After green Area after the selected edge
Dist gray
Distance between the areas
Before and After
With this area, you define the
minimum slope of the edge at the
contrast transition.
To ensure that the selected edge is
detected, both cutting edges of the
video curve with the two trigger levels
must be within the defined area.
