8.9.8 Measuring Range Setting
Both outer green LED projection points mark the camera measuring
range.
The actual measuring range of the CCD camera is approx.
5% greater than the range that is marked by both outer
LED projection points.
Setting rule
When scanning the widest web of material, all material edges or
contrast transitions that have to be detected must be located
within the camera measuring range.

›› The protective sleeve is removed from the lens barrel of the
CCD camera and both locking screws of the zoom lens are
loosened (see Preparation Measures, page 89).
1. Adapt the measuring range to the width of the web of material
by turning the zoom ring ②. The zoom ring of the camera lens
can be accessed through both openings in the lens barrel.
2. Press the button to complete the adjustment step.
The screen display changes to the next step.
