Mounting bracket including fine adjustment
The mounting bracket is used to fix the CCD camera to the
machine frame. The integrated fine adjustment permits a
quick and highly precise alignment of the camera in three
axes.
Touchscreen display
During operation, the graphic display shows all important
information (video curve, edge positions, etc.).
The different setup menus of the camera are called up via
the touchscreen and parameter settings are edited.
3.4 Scanning Methods
Depending on the requirements, two different scanning methods
are used to capture the contrast transitions.
Transmitted Light Method

With the transmitted light method, the light source (light box) is
arranged behind the web of material as viewed from the CCD
camera. This scanning method is used to detect the web edges of
opaque materials.
BST light boxes of the XS, SL and XL types are used as light source
for the transmitted light method.
