3.6 Measuring Range
The measuring range is the range in which the CCD camera
detects contrast transitions.

When changing the focal length on the zoom lens, you adapt the
measuring range to the maximum width of your material. In doing
so, all contrast transitions (material edges) that should be detected
by the CCD camera must be located within the measuring range.
During setup mode, three green LED projection points mark the
measuring range and thus make the setup and the precise align-
ment of the camera easier.
The actual measuring range of the CCD camera is approx.
5% greater than the range that is marked by both outer
LED projection points.
