8.9.2 Goal of the Alignment
Before the Adjustment After the Adjustment
Goal of the alignment is to
align the CCD camera precisely perpendicular to the light
source/web of material (alignment X, Y and Z axes),
adapt the camera measuring range to the material width,
set the camera focus.
8.9.3 Tools and Auxiliary Equipment
To align the CCD camera, you need the following tools and auxiliary
equipment:
Allen key WAF 2.5
Allen key WAF 5
Steel rule
Two opaque material strips with identical width (e.g. business
cards)*
Adhesive strip for fixing the material strips
* The material strips are only required for the installation position,
where the Z axis of the CCD camera runs vertical (see Z Axis
Alignment, page 98).
